The ambiance at this winery is lovely. I'd bring a work client here or my adult family for a meal. The views are beautiful. The snacks we had were delicious. The wines are fine. You have to join once with the social club fee to eat/taste. But it's cheap and worth it.

What an amazing place! From the modern building to the delicious menu and tasteful wines, Amaterra is a winner for Portland. Chef Jami and his team are masters of service and I can't wait to return for another wholesome dinner!

The restaurant was a 4/5 and while beautiful (as some have said like a scene out of TV), I had a hard time with a $250 bill for two people who had scallops, oysters and a couple drinks. On top of that we had to pay $25 to dine there for a social fee? Seems at some point that should get waived if you are dropping over $200 in dining and wine. Overall, the scallops were way too cheesy and felt super heavy.. I wouldn't order them again. The service was great, and she did a good job of checking in so 5 stars for that. We stopped by the patio concert going on which happens Thursday 5-8pm and that is something I would definitely recommend. Wine was 3/5 for me. Will skip the restaurant next time and go for the patio.

Walking into this place feels like I should be on the Real Housewives of PDX or something..so bougie but in the best ways! I stopped in for their 4-5pm happy hour. I had two pours of the petite rose and the smoked salmon dip, the sliders and oysters. The portions are tiny but pack a lot of flavor so more of snacks instead of dinner. Would come back and try the charcuterie board. After happy hour I walked down to their terrace to enjoy some live music which they do each Thursday 5-6pm. I had a margarita and my partner had a martini. Both were a bit underwhelming, but the bartender and surrounding staff/vibes were lovely. The views were gorgeous. Would've loved a few more shaded options as it was busy and the sun was beating down. Will definitely be returning :)

Amazing food, wine and views. Our friend lives in town and said you need to be a member to come here but can do so for $25. He brought us while visiting and we had a great dinner. There's some really nice tables outside overlooking the vineyard. We had a nice table inside right next to the big windows with the view as well. Most of us went with the tasting. I tried the standard one and was so surprised to really enjoy the Pinot noir. I usually stick with cabs and Malbecs. The food was excellent. I really enjoyed my fish and all our appetizers and sides. Get the bread dish that's listed as a "side" get it as an app!

Back again for dinner date for two, scallops were excellent if a little short on number with only three. Ceviche was also excellent but also a bit small on portions. Our pours of Pinot and Rose were excellent. Another great experience and smiling service with wonderful views

Another mid afternoon trip to Amaterra yesterday to catch up with an old friend. As is usual, the service was understated and present he should be. We were seated by the fireplace which was nice, and the room is so lovely, as was the view! We shared a bottle of wine - their Stark Vineyard Chardonnay. So tasty! For food we shared The Curated Cheese and Charcuterie Board. My friends shared it and really enjoyed. I hadn't eaten, so I ordered the Albacore Tuna Salad Tartine. It is an open face sandwich on artisan bread. The tuna salad was really good as was the Caesar salad that came as a side. Let me sum it up - lovely setting, great food and wine! Reservations are recommended. The tasting menus is available in the afternoons with expanded offerings now and dinner is awesome. Very nice to watch the sun set while enjoying great food and wine.
